Sean Ford '90 appointed COO of ZMags

From MassHighTech:

Zmags Inc. has appointed W. Sean Ford as chief operating officer and chief marketing officer of the Boston-based SaaS rich media and analytics firm.

Ford is a former Oracle Corp. vice president, having served as VP of global business unit marketing and VP of global retail marketing for the company. Since Oracle and prior to joining Zmags, he was chief marketing officer of Syncsort, a data integration and data protection services firm. Ford earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree from Williams College.

Ford co-founded online college savings service Upromise Inc. in 1999 with Michael Schreck, who was named CEO of Zmags in May.

Zmags, founded in 2006, develops a software-as-a-service product that enables marketers to turn static print or PDF collateral into interactive flash format. It launched a merchandising service, called CommercePro, for online, mobile and social commerce. The company has its headquarters in Boston, with additional offices in London, Copenhagen and Los Angeles.

Mockery of turning .pdf to Flash, truncated.   "A rose, by any other name..."

Maybe with an Eph in charge they can make a not terrible product

Appreciate the vote of confidence from the post above! Would sincerely be interested in your perception on the product and why it is "terrible"....trying to shift efforts and improve the product, platform, experience, etc. etc. and any productive thoughts would be really helpful. Thanks!
